Luzuriaga wanted to make sure her husband’s voice was heard in NYC because he became a police officer to change the world. Her speech was exactly what Bragg needed to hear.

February 4, 2022Why Didn’t Andrew Gounardes Stand Up for Democracy?

For years, Andrew Gounardes spoke out against gerrymandering.
Andrew had the chance to set things right for his district and stop the gerrymandering. Gounardes was silent as his buddies drew him a new district and put more Democrats in the district.
When he saw that two female Hispanic Congresswomen wee being pushed out, why didn’t he stand up and say that it isn’t the right thing to do?
Hardly anyone knows as it was quietly pushed through and signed by the governor. Why didn’t Kathy Hochul push them to stop the gerrymandering?
IT WAS WRONG WHEN THE REPUBLICANS DID AND IT’S REALLY WRONG WHEN THE DEMOCRATS DID IT. Karma always bites people, especially when they think they got over on someone (in this case – a large part of Brooklyn).
Please don’t respond that he’s a good person. The senator is a father and should know better than to continue to create an unfair government for his son to grow up in. If you were raised by a father who did the right thing for people, even when no one was looking, you understand what I mean.
