September 7, 2022St. Francis College Quietly Opened on Livingston Street in Downtown Brooklyn
Saint Francis College was at 180 Remsen Street for almost 60 years.
This September, they opened the new campus at 179 Livingston Street.
The new college facility has modern classrooms with glass walls. There is an outdoor terrace, a 6,600-square-foot library, two art galleries and a brew shop to study at!
It’s bittersweet to see the campus, but the Class of 2026 will enjoy this modern college in Brooklyn and that’s what is important!

September 7, 2022Access-A-Ride Driver From Bay Ridge Arrested
Last Wednesday, this video was filmed in Marine Park.
It’s disgusting to see the terrible treatment towards someone’s grandmother.
Today, the NY Post revealed that the 46-year-old driver is from Bay Ridge and he was charged with attempted robbery, vehicular assault and grand larceny.
The situation was recorded by someone who saw something was wrong and started filming.

This week, burglary and petit larceny are up in the 68th Precinct.
Sex Crimes have also increased this year in the 68th Precinct. You can see these numbers in Compstat – here.
If you click on the number – it will show you the location for the crime. This is the sex crimes map:
While there was just one crime in this area this week, sex crimes is up by 105%.
Last year there were 17 sex crimes in the 68th Precinct at this time of the year. Already there have been 35! Captain Tolson would say murder is down and that’s it.
