October 2, 2022For Years, Money Has Been Set Aside For Repairs on Shore Road’s Bike Path, But The Construction Won’t Happen Until Spring 2024 – 2025

NYC can’t keep throwing money millions of dollars at Parks that aren’t getting fixed.
Hardly anyone is looking at why the cost of these projects is so high.
At the Community Board 10 meeting, Parks Committee Meeting, Diane Gounardes praised Councilman Brannan for getting money. The reality is Diane Gounardes knows the children who attended the meetings to design the parks in our community are too big to use the playground equipment that will someday be installed.
Davey Ives, who works for NYC Parks praised Senator Gounardes to his mother, Diane Gounardes during the zoom meeting. (WEIRD!)
Maybe Davey Ives doesn’t realize that Andrew Gounardes didn’t follow through on any of the updates to Shore Road Park that he promised years ago, but Andrew’s mother and other people who attended meeting know that.

Construction is not starting until Spring 2024 and completed in Spring 2025??!\\

October 1, 2022CB 10 Listed Commercial Towing As a Priority

While Community Board 10 had towing in their presentation (see here), this is an issue that Justin Brannan and Andrew Gounardes should have taken care of in July.
At Gounardes meeting in June, this was brought up and Andrew didn’t do anything.
Community Board 10 has money in their budget, if they wanted to do it, they would have already.

September 30, 2022Justin Brannan Thinks the Mayor is No Longer Interested in Using Hotels….He Knows Housing is Needed for Asylum Seekers

In the Dyker Heights Facebook group, Councilman Brannan wrote the message above.
LOL he thinks this blog isn’t reliable because I have called him out over lobbyists. I like how Brannan advertises my blog. So many people searched for me to find out what I was writing about and told me!
Everyone knows what is up since this publication did this story.

September 30, 2022Ragamuffin Parade – Happening As a Block Party in Bay Ridge on October 1, 2022

UPDATE ON PARADE FROM THE COMMITTEE: (See here)
As everyone has heard by now, it is supposed to be heavy rain.
They shared: “We do not want to cancel the entire event, so we will be having a ‘block party’ on 75 Street to 76 Street. We will not be marching up 3rd Avenue as usual. Everything will be taking place on that one block including registration and judging.”
The people that organize the parade know children! They know children just want to put on their costumes and go. So having some event is better than no event at all.
See other events in Bay Ridge this weekend here.
