If You Need Help While At a Bay Ridge Bar, Ask For an Angel Shot

Bay Ridge bartenders are prepared to help if someone asks for an “angel shot.” This is a coded way for someone to discreetly ask the staff at a bar or restaurant for help if they don’t feel safe.

It’s a way to help people—especially those on dates—leave situations safely and discreetly.

The 3rd Avenue Merchants posted a video, but they aren’t allowing people to share it (which is strange because this is something to help the community).

Gounardes & Santosuosso Waited To Mention a Hate Crime That Happened to a Child Last Week!

Some of out local elected leaders are on social media every day playing politics, but not helping the community.

On Friday, January 30th, several hate crimes happened in #BayRidge – one was towards a 12-year-old child. She was punched in the face by a woman while waiting to be picked up outside school on Fort Hamilton Parkway and 92nd Street! See the news:

https://brooklyn.news12.com/staten-island-woman-arrested-for-string-of-hate-crime-attacks-in-bay-ridge-including-assault-of-12-year-old-girl

The 68th Precinct, Andrew Gouanardes and Kayla Santosuosso didn’t think the community needed to be told until after the news released the story when the hater was arrested yesterday. Why weren’t parents in the area told?

Thankfully, no other children were hurt! Captain Desaro and the politicians think people don’t need to know. This is why people don’t trust them.

A woman from Staten Island was arrested for the hate crimes. This is not the first time that a Staten Island resident has committed a hate crime in Bay Ridge. News:

https://ny1.com/nyc/all-boroughs/news/2026/02/05/nypd–woman-attacks-3-people-in-anti-muslim-rampage-in-bay-ridge

Senator Andrew Gounardes and Councilwoman Kayla Santosuosso didn’t share that information until today when the news reported the story.

We shouldn’t be hearing THIS WEEK about a crime that happened last week. Parents have the right to know when crimes are happening, so they can use every precaution to keep their children safe.

Strangely, it’s five days later and the 68th Precinct did not log these as hate crimes. There are zero hate crimes for our area. We have several problems – not just social media politicians.

Chris McCreight Stayed Silent For Years – Now He is Fear Mongering

Chris McCreight. the Democrat District Leader for our area was the Chief of Staff to Justin Brannan. McCreight stayed silent for years as lobbyists had their way in our community. When a secret lobbyist scored at the Nathan’s school and another overpriced property, Chris McCreight didn’t say a word. He had no objections.

When Debrina Kawam was set on fire and killed in Coney Island, what did Chris McCreight do? We didn’t see him do anything. McCreight didn’t speak out for the woman or hold a prayer service for the community. McCreight didn’t speak out for public safety in Coney Island.

When Coney Island residents fought for their community, Chris McCreight was the guy in the back of the meeting laughing. While everyone in the room is serious because they are fighting against the casino, McCreight continuously checks his phone and laughs with Kayla. Why wasn’t he clapping and rooting on the people?

Today, McCreight sent out this nonsense. He hasn’t spoke up about the rising property taxes or when Justin Brannan carved his home out of the City of Yes, but today he cares about the cost of utilities:

McCreight wants Alec Brook-Krasny’s position. Brook-Krasny was the only politician who allowed a Coney Island resident to be on The Coney Island Advisory Committee for the Casino. He chose Marissa Solomon, who fought the casino with THE FACTS.

Woman Stole American Flag and Flagpole From Bay Ridge School

If I didn’t see these photos, I wouldn’t believe that a woman stole a flag and flagpole from a school at 337 – 74th Street in Bay Ridge.

Imagine having so little to do that your day is focused on stealing a flag?

The mustard colored coat makes her stand out.
