The R Train Hotel Continues – No Help For Riders
Finally, the staff that is supposed to help the homeless is being seen at the station.
The two above were engaged in their conversation, so the train pulled in and out without anyone being offered help.
Three sets of people were seen at the station this week and none were engaged in conversation with any of the the people on the train that needed their help. The man above didn’t talk to any of the men riding the R Train Hotel.
The women in the photo above counted the homeless on the train to put down on her pad. She didn’t speak to anyone riding the train.
All of these people are someone’s family members and need help.
The man below is there every morning and needs help:

Brannan Isn’t Telling The Full Picture of Crime in Bay Ridge – It’s Up And Everyone Knows It!
We first heard about the break-ins and robberies that businesses in Bay Ridge were experiencing in our area from video journalist, Adam from Loudlabs. (See here)
If Justin Brannan and Andrew Gounardes are min contact with the police, why didn’t he share the news that several businesses had been broken into?
Adam didn’t report it right after the stores were broken int, he reported it weeks after it happened. Brannan and Gounardes had weeks to tell us and didn’t.
Does Justin Brannan live here with us? This district made the cover of The Daily News and all he has to say is “robberies and burglaries are down.”
Why hasn’t Brannan and Gounardes installed cameras on 3rd Avenue to help the merchants? Do something – do anything!
Brannan wrote that robberies and burglaries are down here.
Comstat shows the 68th Precinct reported robberies up by 300% this week.
Last night, Vito LaBella explained that index crimes were being used to determine crime level. Index Crimes are up 23% in Bay Ridge. Justin Brannan should have given that number because it is a fact in Crimestats. (Check it here)
Petit Larceny means people are being robbed of items that are valued at less than $1000. More people in our community are being robbed than ever and Justin Brannan is saying robberies are down. That just shows how out-of-touch he has become.
Brannan’s competitor for the 2023 election shared that Ridgites are being robbed almost twice as much as last year. 1,503 compared to 807 incident last year at this time. Petit Larceny is up 86.2% this year. Brannan should have shared this and what is being done to bring that number down.
The men working in this area need to say the statistics – all of them – even the ten rapes have happened in Bay Ridge this year.

Armed Robbery in Sunset Park – 57th St. & 7th
Around 10:00 pm, a man on an orange scooter and robbed a man on 54th Street & 7th Avenue in Sunset Park at gunpoint and drove away. He was wearing face mask. : (

Fire on Shore Road and 94th Street – 1 Injured
Around 5:15 pm today, there was a fire at 9437 Shore Road. The fire happened on the third floor of the building. (See video) One person was injured.
Thank God for all of the great firefighters who work in our community!

Say a prayer that this Ridgite is okay.

My Favorite Police Officer in Bay Ridge
Not many people can tell you the name of a police officer in Bay Ridge, but Officer Azzab is my favorite.
Any time I see Auxiliary Police Officer, Fawzy Azzab he is doing something good for our community.
I’m so grateful that he works in this neighborhood because he really loves this community. See his photos here
