Andrew Gounardes Wants to Tax Amazon Packages Which Will Raise Prices at Amazon

Everything is locked up at our local drugstores because the stores are being robbed.
The stores are being robbed because Senator Andrew Gounardes and his cronies in Albany voted to change New York’s bail law and people are not afraid to walk out of a store without paying.
Now Gounardes wants to tax Amazon.
It’s strange that Andrew Gounardes wanted to give free parking spots in Bay Ridge to a private company —-> GetAround Car Sharing, but wants to charge Amazon for delivering packages in NYC. (See here)
HOW IS IT LEGAL THAT A PRIVATE COMPANY HAS HOLD OF PUBLIC PROPERTY?
Not one person on Community Board 10 has stood up for the existing businesses that are being undercut by GetAround’s deal. (See here)
Gounardes voted for cannabis to be sold in NY and said the tax money raised would help NYC. Since it wasn’t rolled out correctly, many places are selling it. Whose checking that the taxes are being collected?
Four years ago, Andrew Gounardes told Bay Ridge he was going to help them with their property taxes. Two years ago, Gounardes said he was waiting for DeBlasio. The Property Tax Commission came back with the rates and Gounardes didn’t do anything. Andrew sits on Twitter and writes tweets, but isn’t work for our community.

March 26, 2023Home Invasion in Bay Ridge – 94th Street

There was a home invasion in Bay Ridge on Saturday morning around 4:30 am. Five masked thieves with guns and walkie-talkies robbed the three floors of the home – taking money, a safe and jewelry. (Story here)
The newspaper named Wogan Terrace, but the picture shows a home on 94th Street between 5th Avenue and Fort Hamilton Parkway. (Seen here) That’s the block down from Staples. Wogan Terrace is the private block off of 94th that has all attached red brick homes. (See street view)
It’s more than 24 hours after this home invasion and neither Senator Andrew Gounardes or Councilman Justin Brannan mentioned it. It’s like they don’t live here. Choose new leaders Bay Ridge!
There was another home invasion hours later in Queens and the police are investigating to see if the two are related.
