Parking Meter Prices Increase in Bay Ridge

Parking meters increased from $1.50 to $2 per hour today.

And it’s now $5 for two hours. Cue the ‘it’s only 50 cents’ reply. But it’s not about 50 cents.

And you might be thinking, “well it’s just a little more.” The reality is NYC is just nickel and diming everyone instead of cutting down on frivolous expenses.

How Many Absentee Ballots in District 47?

1,926 Absentee Ballots

Of course District 47 had the most mail-in ballots.

But it also had 103 invalid ballots. If the election is close, all of those people will be called to (cure) fix their ballot.

Michael Autovino is Channel 1 News’ new meteorologist.

He proudly said he was from Bensonhurst.

Autovino is excellent! He’s very vibrant, dressed well and is good about reporting the forecast!

Can They Legally Do This in Our Election?

Update: This isn’t just a joke or a fake robocall. Our election is being manipulated.

The NY Post found that Jon Paul Lupo was behind the robocall stating there was a write-in candidate, when it has been clear there is no write-in candidate.

Lupo worked for DeBlasio (see here) and the caption under the photo says that Lupo is a Brannan pal.

It’s mostly real estate developers donating the money to the organization. Sadly, two politicians as well!

Is it legal for someone to interfere in an election like this? Even Grubhub was involved in our election.

Bay Ridge there is no write-in candidate, but I am not sure we have a valid election any longer either.

Hate Crimes are Up 600% in Bay Ridge

Crime rates are rising in Bay Ridge for robbery, assault and hate crimes.

Robberies are up 29% YTD, felony assault up 25%, and a lot of hate crimes – up 600%.

The NYPD and politician meetings are not working.

We need new leadership to make changes so that people get to know their neighbors better. The existing politicians are not doing anything about the hate.

77th Street Neighbors Get The Package Back!

We are cheering for our neighbors on 77th Street between 4th and 5th Avenues who were able to get the package back!

One Rigite called him out for taking her neighbors box and two men ran over to support her.

In all seriousness, Bay Ridge be careful. You never know who has a weapon.
