October 15, 2023One Year Old French Bulldog for Adoption -Bklyn

I do not know this dog – I am just sharing the info
**About Leo: **
Leo is a charming merle, medium-sized dog with a friendly temperament. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and in good health (vet records available). Leo enjoys tugging on rope, chewing toys and is always eager for walks or playtime in the backyard. While he does exhibit some reactivity in the car and needs some leash work, this behavior can be improved.
**Ideal Home: **
It’s crucial to me that Leo goes to a family or individual capable of providing a stable and nurturing environment, preferably someone with previous experience with dogs. A fenced yard would be a plus, as Leo loves spending time outdoors.
**Adoption Details: **
Leo will come with his vaccination records, food, favorite toys, bed, and more.
Message Yomary (here) if you are interested in meeting Leo.

October 12, 2023A Day of Jihad – October 13th

One of the leaders of Hamas, a known international terrorist organization, declared tomorrow a day of jihad across the globe.
Update: Thankfully, in NYC most of the groups protesting were peaceful protesters.
We had been seeing warnings on social media for Friday, October 13th, but we didn’t take them seriously because Friday, the 13th isn’t considered a bad day outside of the United States.
Mayor Adams said that there are no known threats. But our area of Brooklyn had some problems yesterday. (See here and here)
We read politician’s statements from other areas because they are a lot more informative than Senator Gounardes’ or Councilman Brannan’s vague communication.
Compare Councilman Bottcher’s statement to Brannan’s below:

Why are they not telling people what is going on so people understand and don’t need to be afraid?
St.Ephrem’s and St. Bernadette’s Catholic Schools are going remote tomorrow.

No one wants to defund the police when they see someone carrying a BB gun trying to scare and threaten a community in Brooklyn.
Two teens were recorded outside of Congregation B’nai Yosef on Ocean Parkway and Avenue P. “They were accused of firing imitation guns outside a synagogue in Gravesend around 7:40 pm.”
