H-Bond Coffee is opening at 479 – 72nd Street on Friday, November 29th. The shop is on 72nd Street – off 5th Avenue (two storefronts from the corner). It’s looks very nice!

Sean Casey Animal Rescue – We got our cat from here and he is the sweetest cat in the world. He gets along well with our dogs. Fun place to visit and see how many pets he has and are well cared for. dogs for adoption cats for adoption   other pets 4 adoption (he often has gerbils and hamsters too). Sean Casey also needs people to provide foster care for pets (temporary homes before they get adopted – some pets don’t like being in the shelter).

Two Bad Accidents – Belt Pkwy and Bridge
People are driving crazily today!
There were two bad accidents today – one on the Belt Parkway and the other on the Verrazzano Bridge. Prayers for the people involved.
1) Around 4:30 pm, there was a five car accident on Belt Parkway yesterday east bound.
(Around noon, there was an accident futher out on the Belt – see video)
2) Right before 9:00 pm, there was a serious accident on the Verrazzano Bridge with an overturned vehicle. The two lanes on the lower level of the bridge were closed. BRAVO volunteer ambulance from our area responded and shared this photo and information:
“Bravo’s crew was on hand tonight to respond to a multi-vehicle Motor Vehicle Collision involving an overturned vehicle on the lower level of the Verrazzano Bridge. BRAVO and ambulances from NYU Langone-Brooklyn and Staten Island University Hospital transported 5 patients to area hospitals. While tending to these patients, a separate accident occurred on the opposite side of the roadway resulting in three addition patients.”
ANOTHER ACCIDENT:
Ridgites shared that a man was hit near the entrance of the bridge. He was laying in the crosswalk. An ambulance came fast and the man talked to the medics as they placed him in an ambulance.

Every year, Skinflints makes Thanksgiving dinner for seniors. This year they delivered 120 meals – amazing!!
Gargiulo’s Restaurant hosts a Thanksgiving gathering each year so people can have delicious meal.

Mint Bay Indian Cuisine is officially opening at 7508 – 3rd Avenue on Friday, November 29th at 3:00 pm. (See menu with pictures here)
This Indian Restaurant is across the street from The Salty Dog.
This location used to be where Birria Mania was (before that it was Mezecal)

Sabor de Colombia Restaurant and Bakery From Sunset Park Is Coming to Bay Ridge
Sabor de Columbia is opening on the corner of 3rd Avenue and 71st Street (7026 – 3rd Avenue). Sabor de Columbia means “Flavor of Colombia.”
The original Sabor de Colombia Restaurant and Bakery is on 5th Avenue and 46th Street in Sunset Park. People love the restaurant because it has authentic Columbia food and it is affordable. (See pictures of the food)
Good luck to the new owners!!
This storefront location has not had a lot of luck. I think someone needs to put some blessings and holy water on this location. Most recently this storefront was Spice Szechuan, Asian cuisine.
Before that this location was:
1) Brooklyn Bay Seafood –
2) Ginny’s 45 to $9 Restaurant – Nice lady
3) Mama’s Greek Restaurant
4) Pashazade  Turkish Restaurant
5) Water Grill
6) Barracuda (Seafood restaurant) — I remember it being there.

Bunch of Pigeons…Not What It Looked Like
Snap.
I thought I had captured the most beautiful sun on the 68th Street Pier. When I got home and looked at the picture, it looked nothing like the pigeon mess above.
The pier had a glorious sun like Beautiful Bay Ridge captured (here). Follow their instagram because I only have ugly pigeons for you today. (Beautiful Bay Ridge Insta)
