November 10, 2024Attempted Child Abduction in Crown Height

In Crown Heights on Friday, a father was walking with his two children. He was holding both children’s hands. A masked man crossed the street near the family and attempted to take his child. (CBS News)
The community quickly circulated videos from various angles. See (here) and (here) The other views allowed the Shomrim to see the masked man walking towards the apartment building. They alerted the police and the man was taken into custody.
The suspect was arrested with the help of the Shomrim in the area.
This right here, is my biggest nightmare.

It happened today in Crown Heights on Sabbath. There are currently not enough laws in place to protect us from these scenarios. pic.twitter.com/3AA9by5LfV
How awful and scary. Thankfully, this Brooklyn neighborhood has watch groups which are focused on safety.

November 9, 2024Signs Around Bay Ridge and Dyker Heights

For several weeks, we have seen these signs being added to polls all over the community.
There are people’s names at the top. There are additional signs with photos of a man and woman. I wrote to the 68th Precinct, but they didn’t respond.
If you put these signs up or you know the story of the young lady, message me on insta or X.

The FDNY remained in the park overnight.
It’s 70 degrees in Brooklyn in November and it hasn’t rained in 40 days. It’s strange that there hasn’t been any rain for five weeks, but rain is expected this week!

November 9, 2024When Justin Brannan’s Chief-of-Staff Lost His Election, Justin Brannan Went to Puerto Rico!

Photo: DL Shaquana from Brooklyn
Justin Brannan and Andrew Gounardes went to party in Puerto Rico at Somos. Lobbyists attend the event to politicians!
The Hotel of Association of New York City looked happy to see Justin Brannan:

As usual, Justin Brannan and Andrew Gounardes did not share that they were in San Juan, but a District Leader shared the photo above. Justin Brannan’s competitor in the NYC Comptroller election shared that she was at Somos. (See here)
Skye Ostreicher shared a tweet with Justin Brannan and asked “Where do you think NYC wastes the most taxpayer dollars? I guess she didn’t like my answer because she deleted her tweet!

I responded on how NYC paid twice the price for the property at Nathan’s because Justin Brannan wanted to do that!
Don’t worry, Justin Brannan was bummed while he was in Puerto Rico. City and State published this:

City and State is writing about what the politicians are doing in Somos. They had to update their story because Andrew Gounardes team (the people hired to work for our community) wrote to City and State and said he wasn’t at the City of Yes event in Somos:

Councilman Brannan has been to Somos several times. (See last year) (And 2022 here) There is no reason for Brannan to attend Somos.
While Justin Brannan will claim that he is using money donated to his campaigns, Brannan received matching funds from the City (Gounardes from the state).

Photo: Speaker Adams
On Facebook, Brannan made posts as if he was in Brooklyn – he never mentioned the trip to San Juan because he thinks he is fooling Bay Ridge.
