If you shopped at Richard and Vinnie’s Prime Meats on 86th and 3rd Avenue or went to Short Ribs and Mambo Italiano, you know Vinnie’s Bolognese. You may have seen his grandson, Vinny at Prime Meats. (See photo in newspaper)

Now Chef Vinny is at The Brooklyn Firefly at 7003 3rd Avenue.

Vinny went to culinary school at the Natural Gourmet Institute. Upon graduation, he was a part of the original kitchen staff that opened Jean-Georges’ abcV. He’s since specialized in vegan and plant-based cuisine and co-founded a vegan sandwich shop, Renegades of Sunset (vegans loved this place).

Man Followed Woman Down the Driveway on 99th Street & 4th Avenue

Last night at 11:54 pm, a neighbor was putting their garbage outside on 99th Street and 4th Avenue (same block as Campania Restaurant).

She saw this guy across the street talking to himself, so as soon as she dropped the garage, she ran back home and closed the door shut quickly.

As she ran, this guy followed her and hung around for a minute seemingly looking for an entry before he ran away.

Another Ridgite from the area shared that the 68th Precinct came and picked up the man.
