Who on Community Board 10 is launching this letter writing drama?
Where was this person(s) when Justin Brannan, Andrew Gounardes and CB 10 failed to share information about the homeless shelter on 4th Avenue? Oh yeah Josephine said one sentence about the shelter so CB10 thought that was sufficient?! There was no letter writing campaign started then!
Where were the letter writers when a secret lobbyists was able to make big bucks by putting a school on 86th Street? No letter writing was encouraged then.

Where were the letters at Andrew Gounardes for failing to inform the community that afterschool funding was cut by the state last Spring? Gounardes didn’t do anything when the funding was cut!
Where was this person(s) when lobbyists were ruling in our community?
Give us a break CB 10 and talk about real issues in this community (or step down so other people can).

For many years, this location was a Met for many years. It was a half of block away from OLPH Church, so a lot of people would go to church and stop there after church because the prices were good.
For years, the grocery store was closed:
Now a CTown is going to open in this space and Sunset Park residents are hoping for affordable prices.

New 12 is reporting that the police are searching for this man. who entered a building on 7th Avenue and 49th Street in Sunset Park around 4:30 pm.
?WANTED for ATTEMPTED RAPE: On 4/27/25 at 4:30PM, near 7th Ave and 49th St in Brooklyn, after an unidentified male made his way into a building, he approached a 67-year-old female victim, displayed a pocketknife, and attempted to rape her.

Where can I get a knife sharpened in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn 11209?
1) Kitchening at 8003 Third Avenue does knife sharpening – price depends on the knife – the guy is there Wednesdays twice a month.
2) Tops Restaurant Supply – on the corner of 3rd Avenue and 80th Street (same family as Kitchening above)
3) Mike comes around in his knife sharpening truck sometimes. His company is Mike and Sons Sharpening Service 718=576-4669 Cost $4 – $6 per knife. Someone said he retired – that is not true. He was sharpening knives in Bay Ridge on Saturday, July 20, 2024.
4) Solomon’s Appliance Repair Center in Bensonhurst 1701 86th Street 718-236-5065
- Years ago, Dominic traveled around in his red grinding truck with the bell to sharpen knives. His company name was: Del Re’s Grinding Truck. When I saw the truck, I grabbed a pen and paper to write down his number: 718-873-5554. I have not seen him in years.
