What is Nicole Malliotakis Doing Now?

Early in the afternoon yesterday, pictures of Nicole Malliotakis started to appear on my Twitter feed. Malliotakis has been quiet since her run for mayor.  On Twitter, someone congratulated Malliotakis.   I thought, “Ohhh no is she trying to run for Governor now?”

Apparently Nicole had a brunch to thank people for their support during the election.  Who paid for that?  Why was a brunch needed more than two months after she lost? Normally, when someone loses an election, they move on with their life and let the winners enjoy the spotlight.

Apparently there must be a lot of money around………

The Post predicted that Malliotakis will be running for Staten Island Borough President and that is great news,  as it gets her out of Bay Ridge. If Malliotakis ran against the governor, she would have to take another  L.  Ya see, the papers crushed Malliotakis when she ran against DeBlasio.  The ‘Press Release Queen’ didn’t realize that press releases couldn’t win over DeBlasio.  For years, Malliotakis has pushed press releases on Staten Island and Bay Ridge, but the real reporters in NYC printed the truth about her AND they didn’t let her spurt nonsense and get away with it. Journalists actually fact-checking was a big part of this last election. In Staten Island, the main papers are still into fooling people with silly press releases, so Nicole could  probably win the Borough President position.

But why can’t Nicole just do SOMETHING now as an Assemblywoman? Where are her bills to help the area she represents?

Jerry Kassar Says Harris Should Step Down

Update: On March 16th,  Kassar renewed his call for Harris to step down

Jerry Kassar wrote about Assemblywoman Pam Harris this week. I’m been reading Kassar for awhile and sometimes he likes to make jab at people in his writing.

While Kassar references Harris being a former correction officer and involved in law enforcement, Kassar say the only thing worse is if she was an attorney (kinda like Richard Luthmann, Jerry?)

Kassar mentions that Harris’ legal problems were raised as an issue in her special election campaign and the following general election as well.

More importantly Kassar points our Mark Treyger. Kassar believes Treyger should call for Harris to step down. AND KASSAR IS RIGHT (you won’t see those words ever again, so enjoy them).   Jerry forgot to mention that Nicole Malliotakis is in the Assembly with Harris and Nicole should have called for Harris to step down. Treyger won’t be able to call for Harris to step down because of his involvement in this. Plus he wants Harris to hang on (she won’t – plea bargaining is our prediction).

Residents in Harris’ area have agreed that Harris should step down. She won’t though. For the next six months, Harris will get a paycheck and then we will see some plea bargaining in the Summer and that will be the end of Pammy.

United City Church in Bay Ridge

I ran into someone who attends United City Church in Bay Ridge.  Even though they explained to me that there church was on 94th Street between 3rd and 4th. I couldn’t picture the place in my mind.

United City Church in Bay Ridge Brooklyn

The United City Church is holding services at the Bethel Presbyterian Reformed Church.  It’s down the block from the Car Dealership on 4th Avenue and  Rocco’s.

Anyway, they have services on Sundays from 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm.  United City Church is at  367 94th Street. The person who I talked to was very upbeat (but not in an annoying way).  If you were looking for a new church, it might be something you would want to check out.
