February 16, 2018Marty Golden Wants Scanners in Schools
Does Marty Golden have a friend who is selling scanners for schools?
Senator Golden recommended that each school get a scanner and everyday we scan every student.
Obviously Senator Golden thinks we have money to burn so we can purchase scanners.
No one wants to say what health issues will come from the scanning (yes, there are issues).
Just because Senator Golden is on the committee science and technology in the Senate doesn’t mean he is an expert on technology.
Golden is a supporter of the NRA and won’t place any ban on weapons because children in schools is not his concern.
Why do students have to worry about a shooter coming into their school? Because Senator Golden won’t introduce common sense legislation into the Senate. Everyone can’t have guns.
Today the Senator tries to push this nonsense to the Mayor. This guy always tries to deflect the attention off of himself by pointing at the Mayor. It’s gotten so old.
Senator Golden is pushing these nonsense scanners forward because he isn’t on board to stop the problem – NY Senate Bill 7133A

February 15, 2018Irish Soda Bread Bakeoff in Bay Ridge
The church bulletin asked, “Do you make the best Irish soda bread?” Yes I do! I feel like they are challenging me. It takes me forever to make Irish soda bread. I love making it for my students because most of my class has never had it and it’s always great to watch someone enjoy their first slice.

Singers
Please sing a musical theater song or a Disney-like song. Please bring sheet music in your key, and be prepared to sing 32 bars. It’s hard to determine vocal abilities from current rap and pop music. Please be sure the music is appropriate and shows your vocal range. You may bring a CD or audition without music accompaniment (a capella). There will be a brief dance audition. (If you are interested in working stage crew, lights or sound, please turn in your completed audition sheet with the stage crew box checked.)
Production Fee : If you are cast, there is a $100 Production Fee due at first rehearsal. Please make check out to St. Bernard.
Rehearsal: Sundays from 3 to 6. We will add Tuesday and/or Wednesday evenings starting in mid-March. The schedule will change and get more intense as we get closer to performance dates. Not everyone is needed at every rehearsal.
Conflicts: Please note any known conflicts on the back of the audition form. Three unexcused absences and you will be removed from the cast. No conflicts will be accepted tech week.
Show Dates: Friday, June 1 @ 7 pm, Saturday, June 2 @ 2 pm & 7 pm, Sunday, June 3 @ 2 pm
