June 17, 2025The Immigrant That Brad Lander & The Brooklyn Monarchy Used…And Didn’t Help
Today, an immigrant named Edgardo was used as a pawn by Brad Lander at the immigration court building at 26 Federal Plaza in Lower Manhattan today.
Brad Lander locked arms with Edgardo and kept asking Ice agents for a judicial warrant. A judicial warrant is not needed at immigration court.
Brad Lander should have used the law to help immigrants instead of making a video moment before an election! ICE agents detained Brad Lander for interference, explained in this video:
While Brad Lander was in custody, the Brooklyn monarchy raced to Manhattan to be on television. Andrew Gounardes stood at a podium with Brad Lander’s name and went on and on.
Senator Andrew Gounardes is a state lawmaker. He could have made a law that allowed immigrants to do a Zoom check in with the immigration office so they wouldn’t be in line for Ice Agents.
Andrew Gounardes cried on Facebook that the Ice agents wore masks. Gounardes could have made a bill to stop the Ice Agents from wearing masks, but he just play politics and isn’t helping people.
Andrew Gounardes could have made a bill to put a NYS attorney office in the Immigration building or nearby so all immigrants could have an attorney assist them. But Andrew didn’t bother!
Like Brad Lander, Justin Brannan was down in the polls so he could use some press time. Brannan didn’t help Edgardo either, but he did make a video and some people in his base will think that is enough.
After Brad Lander was released, there was more talk with the press and television in the evening too:
Anthony Delgado (Lieutenant Governor) showed up in NYC to hug Brad. Delgado also wasn’t interested in helping Edgardo, the immigrant that was detained by ICE.
Governor Hochul said Brad Lander will be okay. Governor Hochul wasn’t interested in helping Edgardo – she didn’t care that he wasn’t okay. Nonsense tough-talking on social media is useless, but that’s what fires up pols like Gounardes, so that’s why she does it.
We need a new government – one which wants to help people. All of these immigrants can’t be criminals or members of gangs that need to be deported. The Brooklyn Democrats are useless because they are too involved with self-promotion and stroking their own egos. Tonight Edgardo is in Ice’s custody and none of them care.

Efthimios Zisimopoulos, a Brooklyn developer wants to rezone 9201 – 4th Avenue to a 9-story residential and retail building. Story:
This huge building is empty – while everyone knows Pizzeria Unos left years ago, I don’t think most people realize the building is completely empty. Ten years ago, there was a busy doctor’s office in this building. Source for the building being empty:
Zisimopoulos, also know as Tim Ziss is the developer known for the flipping Nathan’s on 86th Street. (Ziss purchased it for $12.25 million on October 23, 2018 — and then resold the property for $25 million the school construction agency on July 1, 2019).

June 16, 2025Bishop Kearney HS Building is Becoming The Middle School of Innovation
Bishop Kearney High School closed in 2019.
For years, people wondered what was coming to 2202 – 60th Street. Andrew Gounardes said he was going to have a specialized high school put there, but he didn’t do the work to make that happen.
The Middle School of Innovation K968 is opening in September there in District 21.
The building has new windows & doors last week on the school as they get ready for September.
