The Mermaid Parade is Today – Cheer For the People Carrying the Banner Against the Casino

While people in Coney Island should be enjoying their annual Mermaid Parade today, they will be marching because Councilman Justin Brannan is the worst representative in Brooklyn and has not stood against the casino.

They are carrying banners that say No Casino in Coney Island – please cheer them on!!

June 21, 2025Rents Increase 15% in NYC – Thank Justin Brannan For Voting for the Fares Act

Justin Brannan and many NYC council representatives thought they would fool you into thinking they were on your side. They voted for the FARE Act for NYC. See news:
https://nypost.com/2025/06/21/us-news/rents-jump-shocking-15-after-nyc-ditches-broker-fees

The bill and Justin Brannan’s vote:

Real estate offices can no longer charge the person looking for an apartment a fee. Now the realtor charges the owner of the apartment. Since the bill went into effect, rents were raised by 15%.
Who didn’t see this coming? Justin Brannan!
David Carr, Susan Zhuang, Inna Vernikov and Kalman Yeger are all NYC Councilmembers from Brooklyn who voted against the bill because they knew it would drive up rents.

June 20, 2025Why the Asian Community in Brooklyn is Supporting Andrew Cuomo for Mayor…

Andrew Cuomo came to South Brooklyn and told the people what no other politician has been able to tell them. Cuomo said he won’t put a homeless shelter on 86th Street and 20th Avenue in Brooklyn.

The people in this community came out of Covid and then had to deal with being told that a homeless shelter for 150 men was being put in their district.
Cuomo is only top polling NYC mayor candidate visited our community multiple times! We Vote for Cuomo#1 for mayor @andrewcuomo pic.twitter.com/wCmGaV4q8H
— Susan Zhuang ??? (@susanzhuangnyc) June 20, 2025
The elected leaders couldn’t get the current administration to change to a family shelter, so the people wouldn’t have to be concerned about their safety.

On 8th Avenue someone put up signs for Zohran Mamdani. On WeChat, the Asian community shared that they are not welcoming the far left in their community. They know their taxes will be increased and safety is not a concern.

They also didn’t appreciate the posters being put on public facilities.

Cuomo is going to get 10,000+ votes from this Bensonhurst community.

An upside down American flag is a sign of distress. People asked local leaders what was going on.

One great Brooklyn called the Parks Commissioner’s office. They told him that there were numerous act of vandalism in Brooklyn park today and it has taken them several hours to rectify the situations.
When someone alerted Brannan about the flag, Justin Brannan made it about politics, rather than calling the Parks Department. *JERK*
Brannan posted this on X:
