August 24, 2018Corey Johnson Endorsed Candidate with IDC Support
Corey Johnson claims he is a progressive Democrat who is against he IDC, yet he made an endorsement in my area for Ethan Lustig-Elgrably who is being funded by the IDC. (See the money flowing here)
Speaker Johnson tweets a good game about being against the IDC:
Residents aren’t suppose to realize that Senator Diane Savino is a member of the IDC and not only has she maxed out on her contributions to Ethan’s campaign, but money was also shuffled from Savino to the District Leaders, Charlie Ragusa and Nancy Tong to Ethan Lustig-Elgrably campaign. See here
Corey Johnson endorsed Ethan Lustig-Elgrably because he thinks this is what South Brooklyn deserves.
A further look at Ethan Lustig-Elgrably’s office staff shows that Ethan’s campaign manager used to work for the head of the IDC, Jeff Klein’s – see linked in profile.
Of all the Democrats that Ethan could have hired in NYC, he chose an employee who worked for IDC Leader, Jeff Klein up to at least November 2017.
It’s no secret that Diane Savino and Jeff Klein have been dating for years.
Senator Diane Savino would love to have Ethan Lustig-Elgrably push her and Jeff Klein’s bills in the NYS Assembly.
Does Corey Johnson, Mark Treyger and Ethan Lustig-Elgrably think that South Brooklyn is too busy or dumb to realize they are going to vote for an IDC endorsed candidate?
Did Corey Johnson even look into Ethan’s background – we know Johnson did not speak to Dr. Frontus before endorsing Ethan. Speaker Johnson would not answer tweets about his endorsement.
If Corey Johnson ever reads this, I want him to know that when I see him on my television or he computer, I get the same feeling he gets when he sees Donald Trump. Johnson is aware that Bay Ridge is represented by the Senator Marty Golden, we’ve been scammed by Pam Harris and home owners in Bay Ridge pay twice as much property taxes as Mayor deBlasio does for his posh Park Slope home.
It’s no secret, I’m not a fan of Corey Johnson’s. Johnson has continued the stifling, non-transparent regime of Melissa Mark Vivierto where South Brooklyn loses every single time.

Kadia Goba of Bklyner wrote a great article about the extra services that Councilman Brannan has setup to keep Bay Ridge clean.
I love reading stories like this because although sanitation isn’t exciting Bay Ridge’s Avenues are busy and the Counilman Brannan is taking extra care for Bay Ridge!

August 24, 2018Corey Johnson Doesn’t Support Women in Brooklyn
Corey Johnson also endorsed Ethan Lustig-Elgrably, without even meeting with Dr. Mathylde Frontus. Johnson claims to support women and tweets about women in government, but Johnson couldn’t even take ten minutes to meet with Dr. Frontus and hear why Moms Demand Action endorsed her over Ethan Lustig-Elgrably.
Johnson likes to tweet about supporting women, but his actions don’t match his words.
Or maybe it’s just South Brooklyn is an area of NYC that just doesn’t matter to Speaker CoJo?
Here we have Dr. Frontus, a very qualified woman with an impressive background. Dr. Frontus has a plan to make the NYC Assembly more transparent, but for some reason Johnson is ghosting Dr. Frontus and endorsing a candidate who couldn’t shine Dr. Frontus’ shoes. Ethan Lustig-Elgrably knows he hasn’t been there for the community – after he left his paid positing in Mark Treyger’s office, he didn’t continue to serve the community. Senator Savino of the IDC is funding Ethan’s campaign both directly and indirectly through District Leaders. Ethan’s campaign manager also worked for the head of the IDC.
Days ago, I asked Johnson about his endorsement on Twitter – neither of his accounts responded.
Sadly, the Brooklyn Borough President, Eric Adams also endorsed without meeting with Dr. Frontus. When asked about his endorsement, Eric Adams replied that he endorsed Ethan because he was asked. Adams was very defensive about being questioned on the endorsement. See here

August 24, 2018Andrew Gounardes Acts for Bay Ridge Children
As a lifelong resident of Bay Ridge, Andrew Gounardes knows our streets and he knows he can make them safer. While he’s not our Senator yet, Gounardes crowdfunded to get these signs which will be a good reminder for drivers in our neighborhood. Why? Because he’s someone who will act when he sees there is a problem.
Marty Golden is being referred to as a speed racer and reckless politician in the paper today. Golden has done nothing to stop the speeding that everyone is complaining about in Bay Ridge.
Golden has also failed to protect this community as has played games in the Senate by initially backing the speed camera bill and then introducing a weaker bill for stop signs.
What’s changed about Marty Golden?
Marty Golden no longer has the influence in the Senate. In July, Golden told the papers he called for the Senate to reconvene and nothing happened – Senator Flanagan, the majority leader ignored Marty. Any movement on this bill after the September primary elections would make Golden look like a chump because Senator Perata has already called Golden out on this by saying: “I have a suspicion he’ll try to call us back after the primary, when Golden’s opponent will be determined,” Peralta said. “That way, it will be seen as a victory for Golden if and when [the speed camera program] gets expanded.”

Welcome to Bay Ridge Nailspree…..where women (and men) love to get their nails done.
Nailspree opened at 9104 – 3rd Avenue – next door to Little Cupcake Bakeshop and across the street from Foodtown. It was formerly the Fried Ice Yogurt place (remember the huge pink sign?)
The place looks nice (who doesn’t like fresh, new nail polish?)

August 23, 2018Reporter Finds a Marty Golden Balloon in NJ
When I first saw this being discussed on social media, I thought people were joking around because the reporter was holding up a deflated yellow balloon, the same color balloon that Golden gave out during Summer Stroll nights in Bay Ridge.
But the reporter ACTUALLY found a Marty Golden balloon while he is going through the trash on a New Jersey beach 70 miles away. When was asked about it, he said:
