Charlie Kirk Memorial Set Up in Bay Ridge

I didn’t know who Charlie Kirk was until today, but many people knew him and his work.

At Our Lady of Angels, a memorial was set up for Kirk, a 31-year-old Conservative, who w.ent to college campus and was speaking about Conservative values. So many people were affected by Kirk’s death.

Kirk was shot at Utah Valley University and died. His killer was caught after the killer’s father and a friend of the family reported him to the police.

Many students attending Utah Valley University opposed Kirk speaking on their campus because they didn’t believe his was inclusive. Over 6,000 people signed a petition against his visit to the campus. See here:

https://www.change.org/p/prevent-charlie-kirk-from-speaking-at-utah-state-university

It’s sad that there are people in the United States, who believe it’s okay to take someone’s life if you don’t agree with what they have to say. Online, Republicans and Democrats are bickering.

There was a school shooting in Denver, Colorado today as well. Info:

Equally as sad is that videos of Charlie Kirk being assisinated are all over the web. Children are seeing this video on social media.

RIP Charlie Kirk. Prayers for his wife and two small children.

Election for Kings County GOP Party Boss

The Brooklyn GOP is going to have an election for the new Kings County GOP Party boss. Svetlana Zelinskaya and Liam McCabe are running for the seat.

Svetlana Zelinskaya is currently a Republican District Leader in Brooklyn. Liam McCabe is a former NYC Council candidate and has run several political campaigns. (I’ll add more about the campaigns (wins/losses) soon.

Strangely, there is a proxy voting script that someone is reading as they go door to door in our area. The script doesn’t have the two candidates names for some reason……something isn’t right about that script! They shouldn’t allow proxy voting!

Also the script has Marty Golden’s name and it says Golden is helping organize the meeting. It doesn’t say which candidate Golden is supporting. Republicans in the area would be interested in who Golden supported.
