Brooklyn Republicans Endorse Ulrich – Even After Malliotakis Outburst

Craig Eaton endorsed Eric Ulrich. Ted Ghorra and the guy on the right support Eric Ulrich. But Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis didn’t want Ulrich to receive support from her area because Ulrich didn’t support her when she ran against Mayor de Blasio.

Poor Nicole Malliotakis didn’t realize Eric Ulrich has influence in her circles. How did she not know that? There was a recent twitter battle between Ulrich and Malliotakis. Ulrich burned Malliotakis repeatedly.

Don’t worry Nicole has Mike Long and Gerald Kassar – they won’t endorse Ulrich because he supports a woman’s right to choose.  Kassar and Long will stay loyal to Malliotakis Nicole.

What a lot of Bay Ridge residents don’t see is the divisiveness of Nicole Malliotakis. In this past election, Malliotakis endorsed Glen Yost over Mike Reilly, even though she knew the people were with Reilly.

Now Reilly has to work with Malliotakis.  Ugh!

Cat’s Reoccuring UTI – Problem Solved

Our rescue kitty had a problem which we spent a good amount of money on, so hopefully sharing this will help you save money and get relief for your cat.

Our cat was releasing small drops of blood. It look like someone had dropped little cherry koolaid on our marble floor.

We researched online and found that many people had success with this item:

We purchased it on Amazon, but after a few days we saw the cat was still bleeding. Plus the cat HATED the cranberry juice and it was hard to administer.

We took our boy to the vet.  He gave the cat a shot, antibiotics and prescribed the same exact cranberry liquid from above.

While our vet meant well, the bleeding continued after the medicine was done – so we knew there had to be a problem with his food.

We tried this food, but didn’t see much change.

Then we changed to Crave, a grain-free cat food.

Within two weeks we saw the problem was completely resolved.   It’s five months later and Herb has not had any other urinary tract infections.

Things are Going Well in the World…

People were annoyed that the Christmas tree wasn’t placed over the letter A.

Yup things are going good in the world if that’s what NY/NJ residents are complaining about.   See here

And the Port Authority LOVED that this was the problem that they had to work on because there little to do.

Eric Adams Jumped on the Weed Wagon

Cuomo announced he is legalizing weed and Eric Adams jumped on the weed wagon with him.

Being a press release politician, Eric Adams sent out a press release about legalizing weed. Adams could have actually been working on something to help Brooklyn, but instead thought getting free press on the topic of weed would score some points.

I think everyone is sick of these machine candidates trying to ride the press release wave.

Corey Johnson – Not A Good Leader

I wouldn’t want to see Corey Johnson as Mayor. Several political pals of Johnson’s started discussing that on Twitter today and someone pointed to Jeff Coltin’s article and also to an article (from August) in The NY Post.

Corey Johnson isn’t a good NYC Council Speaker…he’s just a continuation of  Melissa Mark Viverito.  This was the second time the Council Speaker butted their nose into our Assembly election. In our last election, Melissa Mark Viverito  pushed Pam Harris.

In this past election, Johnson endorsed Treyger’s friend, Ethan Lustig. Lustig was part of Treyger’s office when Pam Harris committed fraud with the money from NYC Council.  If Johnson had any leadership skills, he would have told Treyger to sit this one out and let the people choose their candidate. Thankfully, the people rose up and we got the right person to represent the community. I feel very fortunate to have her as our representative.

Here’s the part that bothers me: Corey Johnson thought no one cared about South Brooklyn, so he could #PlayPolitics here.  I asked him to remove the endorsement and he refused. Clearly Johnson was trying to strengthen the machine because there was no reason for him to be involved in our elections.  It was awful to see Johnson dancing on television while he was trying to weaken our candidate in Brooklyn?  AWFUL.

Not so ironically, IDC member, Diane Savino funded Johnson’s pick, Ethan’s Lustig’s election with money from her account. The District Leaders also received money from Savino which they transferred to Lustig’s account (how clever of them). Neither Treyger or Johnson even mentioned that Savino was an IDC member. Johnson said he supported getting the IDC members out everywhere else in this city, but in South Brooklyn. How ironic?

Harvey Epstein endorsed and stood with Mathylde Frontus because he saw how valuable she would be to residents and New York. Epstein didn’t come to Brooklyn to support Dr. Frontus because he was asked by cronies – there was no one around, but Epstein. Why can’t the people push someone like Epstein to run for Mayor? Take a look at Epstein, his motions are deliberate, thoughtful and not all about him or his cronies. I am so impressed with Epstein and “the machine” isn’t doing a good job – look at the city and the condition it is in.

South Brooklyn property owners have seen Corey Johnson #StaySilent as Mayor de Blasio plays the property tax game. Johnson hasn’t called for a moratorium on taxes for those who are paying more than Mayor because he and he Mayor are on the same team. Melissa Mark Viverito already had a team examine the taxes years ago.  Mayor de Blasio’s new committee isn’t going to do a thing (How do I know? Because they would have already done it). In a few months residents will receive an update property tax bill and Johnson will be on the the list of people to blame because this past year there was “extra” money that was saved in NYC Council’s fund.

See today’s article by Jeff Coltin here

In Jeff Coltin’s article, Johnson claimed his mother read what was written to him. I have tweeted Johnson many times and if it was true that his mother read what was written online, she would have told Johnson to withdraw his endorsement and apologize for being a jerk to a very accomplished woman and a community he was hurting because of cronyism. Most people in our area were surprised that Johnson supported Ethan Lustig over Mathylde Frontus.

I wouldn’t want Corey Johnson to be NYC’s mayor because his treatment towards women is unequal and  inappropriate. When Shola Olatoye had to speak before City Council, Corey shamed her publicly for his own gain. Johnson KNEW she wasn’t the person that should have accepted all the blame, but he didn’t care – he wanted the publicity. There were many people who dropped the ball that Olatoye couldn’t get her job done.  Olatoye was strong as Johnson dug into her. She didn’t deserve it. I read every article I could about the situation – she didn’t deserve it. Johnson didn’t make Treyger apologize for continuing to throw NYC Council’s money at Pam Harris’ not-for-profit – Johnson gave Treyger a committee and a lot more money because Treyger’s his friend. Pam Harris was sentenced to jail. South Brooklyn lost that money because of Treyger.

This past election, Corey Johnson endorsed Ethan Lustig over Mathylde Frontus. This  was very personal for women in South Brooklyn. It’s great that Corey has friends, but c’mon supporting a man who lived in the area for a short time over a long-time resident, who has working in her community for years was despicable. Johnson had no business in our election. This was the second time Treyger called the City Council Speaker in to help him.  This time, the people fought back with their votes. Dr. Frontus had a lot less money than Ethan (remember Ethan received thousands from the IDC senator).

For South Brooklyn, Corey Johnson hasn’t been the leader other parts of the city may have seen. Johnson opposed a very qualified woman who thankfully is our Assemblywoman. What I learned from this election is that the people in South Brooklyn are stronger than the machine……oh and that Corey Johnson is a #BadDemocrat
