Corey Johnson Continues Publicity Stunt with Survey and Angers New Yorkers

Corey Johnson is busy playing, “I’m a politician who cares.”
Yet, Johnson can’t hear the people. When you operate in a bubble, you can’t see/hear what people are saying……so you give out a survey and make people think you care.
Except it just angers people because Johnson could actually be doing something for the city, rather than “handing out surveys” and having his staff make logos for the survey:

NYC Council hasn’t made any effort to improve the subway, so Johnson’s publicity stunt is just annoying. Don’t you wish a politician would just do something and then yell TADAAAA? If they did that then they could take as many pictures as they like.

DTS NY is hosting our MLK Soccer Day Camp on Monday, January 21st at Aviator Sports & Events Center in Brooklyn.

Aviator Sports & Events is always open when schools are closed. Keep your child active and educated by enrolling them in Dutch Total Soccer (DTS) School’s Out Camp!
Camp attendees will learn and master a wide variety of soccer skills under the guidance of the DTS professional soccer trainers. These skills include Fast Footwork, Dutch Power Shooting, 1v1, Speed and Agility, and Futsal Basics.
Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm

Low Turnout for Eric Ulrich in Dyker Heights
The Brooklyn Republicans didn’t pull out the red carpet for Eric Ulrich.
Although Marty Golden was featured on the invitation for the fundraiser, Marty was not in any photos.
In fact there weren’t many big whigs in the photos. Some of people in the photos worked for Senator Golden, so maybe they are hoping to work for Ulrich.

This week’s package thief in Bensonhurst:

Unique coat pattern…but you won’t see most of it when the hood is down.

Most women don’t carry the little backpack, so that will help us find her.
Looks similar to a Bay Ridge Package Thief:

The crazy threats were comments that appeared on Bay Ridge Talk’s FB Page yesterday and referred to PS 102 and 104

The police take all threats seriously. This child was probably shocked and scared by how serious the issue became.

Volunteers Needed for the Martin Luther King Day March in Bay Ridge 1/21

The Bay Ridge for Social Justice group invites everyone to the annual Martin Luther King Jr. March in Bay Ridge on Monday, January 21, 2019 from 11:30 pm – 3:00 pm. Everyone is meeting at 7111 5th Avenue (between Ovington Avenue and 72nd Street) starting at 11:30 am.

Mike Reilly – Does He Know Malliotakis Endorsed the Other Guy?

Fake smiles all around because Malliotakis endorsed Reilly’s opponent, Glenn Yost, instead of Mike. Reilly beat Yost in a landslide (see here)….so Nicole doesn’t really know Staten Island.

Champions Marital Arts opened on the corner of 93rd Street, where Navarro’s Hardware used to be: 9301 – 3rd Avenue. Kids and parents are going to love having this new place here.

Instructor: Master Chong (this place is related to the other Champions at 7005 3rd Avenue).

Cost: $60 a month for 2 classes per week. Your child can take a 10 minute demo lesson to try it out.

Groupon has a deal for Champions, but this store is not on the site yet (probably because it is new) – see here They also post deals on the FB page for the company – see here (like one month for $10 plus free uniform)

Last Summer, Navarro’s Hardware moved the larger storefront across the street (formerly Morris’ Pharmacy) at 9223 3rd Avenue.

Saeed Ahmad Only Gets 12 Years in Prison

We all remember this incident from October 2017. The footage was shot in the BQE from someone’s car.

That was Saeed Ahmad walking away from his car in the flames and hailing a cab to go to MAIMO hospital.

In the car is the body of a beautiful 25-year-old woman from Astoria. Her name was Harleen Grewal. They weren’t boyfriend and girlfriend as Harleen had a boyfriend – they were friends.

Saeed Ahmad plead guilty to manslaughter and all he is getting is 12 years in jail. See story here.
