July 16, 202573-Year-Old Man Attacked on The 86th Street Train Platform With His Own Cane
On Monday, July 14th around 4:00 pm, a 73-year-old man was beat with his own cane on the 86th Street train platform by another man. This information is being shared by journalists on Wednesday, July 16th.
The man was taken to the hospital because he has a broken arm and a cut near his eye.
As of this morning, the police are searching for the attacker pictured above. He has a beard and was last seen wearing a white vest, black pants, gray sneakers and orange gloves. News:
Why didn’t the police and politicians share this information on Monday evening or Tuesday morning, so residents could be on alert?

July 15, 2025Why is Kayla Santosuosso Making Videos About Poorly Maintained Park Bathrooms at Work?
This morning, Kayla Santosuosso posted a video about the bathrooms at the park on Shore Road and 79th Street. Why is Kayla making videos for her campaign at work?
The video is kind of gross as she is trying to be cute peeping over the door to the bathroom stall and trying to flush a broken toilet.
NYC Council announced this Spring that they would increase the number of public access bathrooms so they will be upgrading ones in each community. How come Kayla didn’t share that?
We don’t need a Council representative who is going to make a video in the bathroom. We need one who is going to call NYC Parks and tell them to fill the soap and toilet paper. We need a representative who will tell NYC Parks to maintain the existing bathroom.
How was millions of dollars spent on parks, but the bathrooms not updated? Kayla Santosuosso isn’t concerned with that. That needs to be questioned because we have some updated parks with outdated AND poorly maintained bathrooms.
Many families won’t go to the park in our area because they don’t want their children to use the dirty bathrooms.
We need a Council representative who can do the real work – not play on social media by posting videos of themselves doing nothing but fooling you!

Mainsail is having a free concert in Shore Road Park (at 79th Street) at 7:00 pm. They play yacht rock. There will be a preshow at 6:00 pm by the students in The School of Rock!

July 14, 2025Andrew Gounardes Takes Photos – Instead of Taking Action for Immigrants
The photo above was taken on June 17, 2025. Earlier that day, Brad Lander created a video with an immigrant named Edgardo, who was at the Immigration Court at 26 Federal Plaza in Manhattan. Edgardo was being detained by ICE. Brad Lander tried to hold onto Edgardo and he was taken into custody by ICE as well because he intervened. No politician or reporter asked what happened to Edgardo after Brad Lander made the video.
Today, it’s almost a month later and Andrew Gounardes took his podium outside of MDC jail in Brooklyn to take a photo. Gounardes claims that about 100 people are being detained by ICE at the jail for no reason.
A speech behind a podium outside the jail is not helping any immigrant in ICE’s custody.
Gounardes and these other politicians can assign attorneys to the jail to help the people being detained or they can go to court and get the court to give them permission.
