Why is Councilman Brannan Being ‘Extra’ on Twitter?
Wow…he aligned himself to be a tattoo twin with Treyger – scary.
Brannan’s tweet is so extra – see here (Slightly funny: one comment is from a former NYC Councilman whose Downtown Brooklyn community made sure he didn’t climb the political ladder. He was the first pol I wrote about on this blog.)
Brannan is getting backlash for his votes this week.
Brannan voted with his party, rather than for Bay Ridge on several items.
I wasn’t surprised as this has been going on for awhile. This doesn’t mean Brannan isn’t a nice guy, but he’s not helpful to home owners in Bay Ridge and Dyker Heights because he’s become part of the red tape of NYC.

People are angry after seeing the recent videos of NYPD officers handling young people on the train and in the station.

I believe Max Rose really wants to get to the end of the drug problem.
On other matters, @MaxRose4NY points out that JFK Airport DOES NOT have a drug lab to review suspected drug-carrying bags, adding that the bags are taken to Newark Airport. It takes two weeks to get that analyzed.

Republicans in other states are mad that the president is having impeachment proceedings. People here in NY recognize that Rose stepped in at the right time. He wasn’t the guy yelling Impeach – he was the holdout until more information came out.

November 1, 2019Middle School 936 is Opening in Sept.
Middle School 936 is District 20’s new middle school opening in September 2020.
The school is located at 278 59th St, Brooklyn, NY 11220. It is still being built so there is no open house. (See here)
There are only 150 seats at this new school. There will be five sixth grade classes with 30 students each. In three years it will have 450 students.
Students interested in attending this school would put 20K936 first on their form.

Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church in Bay Ridge has an amazing outreach program in NYC. On one Friday night a month, they bring food to homeless people…..so kind. See here
Holy Cross is having a fundraising event at Mussels and More Restaurant at 8001 – 5th Avenue on Monday, November 18th from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. You decide how much you want to give.
Their Midnight Runs also bring toiletries and clothing to people in need. On their website, they mentioned they accept donations:
