Cars on Shore Road Keyed Again

Residents woke up to their cars being keyed on Shore Road and 90th Street. Several cars had line across their doors.

One resident wrote on social media that the police remarked that the mark was made by a knife.

So even during the coronavirus, a jerk is still a jerk.

James Cai Recovered from COVID-19 – Discharged!

James Cai is the Healthcare worker who had coronavirus since the beginning of the month.

Although James Cai is from NJ, he’s tied to Brooklyn because he worked at the King David Nursing Home at 2266 Cropsey Avenue.

James Cai wrote today that he was released from  Hackensack University Medical Center 30 Prospect Ave, Hackensack, NJ 07601.

Cai is now home with his wife and daughter. See tweet

In March 12th article, Cai told the paper that Asian doctors recommended the antimalarial medicine chloroquine and the HIV drug Kaletra be used. (He was treated with these for three days….which he questioned if it killed the virus) Trump started speaking about using these drugs on 3/19.  Cai was treated with Redmdesivir for 8 days (which articles stated stops the replication of the virus).

Cai credited these doctors with saving his life:  @terrorpandaz   Dr YiLi Huang, @FYang_EP   Dr Felix Yang, Dr George Hall and Dr Bindu Balani.

I appreciate that James Cai shared his recovery – even when it looked bleak at first. It gives us a lot of hope! One day a movie will be made about this and Cai’s story will be part of it.
