Three-Alarm Fire on 60th Street and Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn 4/7/26 A Lot of Smoke

There was a three-alarm fire at 6007 Fort Hamilton Parkway around 7:46 pm tonight. The fire started in the basement, but moved up to the first floor of the building. Mailbox on 3rd Avenue & 78th St. -> Sticky

Do not put any important mail or checks in the mailbox on the corner of 78th Street and 3rd Avenue. A good neighbor shared that there was sticky stuff on the mail slot! Thieves take the checks, use chemicals to erase what’s is on the checjs and then write alter the payee and amount.

Meters Broken on 5th Avenue Between 71st and 72nd Street, But Agent Gives Ticket Anyway!

She had to walk to another meter because the two near her car were not working. The ticket agent wrote a ticket even though the meters were broken!
