Madeleine Brennan Was the Longest Serving Principal in NYC’s History – IS 201 Will Be Renamed After Her

Madeline Brennan served as principal of the building that is Dyker Heights Intermediate School from 1963 to 2013. In April 2020, she died and people wanted her to be remembered, so they signed petitions and now IS 201 will be renamed the Madeline Brennan School. (Story here) .
