Saturday, April 18th, 2026More Mailbox Phishing in Brooklyn
Three arrests were made in the 72 Precinct in Brooklyn this week because thieves were mailbox phishing. Three males from the Bronx were arrested at 4:10 am for “mailbox phishing” from two mailboxes on Prospect Park West between Windsor Place and 16th Street. A combined total of $34,000 worth of checks were recovered.
