Bay Ridge residents were sad to see a statue at Visitation leaving the grounds this week. The school shared that the statue of St. Rita was returned to the family that donated it: People pray to St. Rita when they are hopeless – she’s the patron saint of impossible, difficult or hopeless causes.

A 72-year-old woman was walking on 4th Avenue and 96th Street on Sunday, May 5th at 4:50 pm. A man punched her in the back of the head!
