Bay Ridge Towers Needs Funding From NYS For Repairs
Community Board 10 held an executive meeting tonight. They discussed the Bay Ridge Towers infrastructure problems and parking deck. They shared these slides.
This Mitchell-Lama Development was built in 1972. It’s terrible that the building was allowed to deteriorate this much.
NYS has provided $49 million in financing for these two buildings, but the development needs more money to fix the structural deterioration of the parking deck and some of the building’s balconies as well. Our NYS representatives need to get to work and bring more funding to the project. CB 10 did not have their input or feedback.
*Residents received a 14% increase in maintenance fees.
