If you are following the story about Owl, you know that Owl was first brought to Verg. Verg told the Ridgites that it would be $5000. They left Verg and went to a vet that works for Second Chance Rescue.
Verg let a dog in such bad shape leave them. Yes, I understand they are a business and need to be paid. But they are also a community vet and they jump in to save this dog.
I’m an animal lover – I have always owned a dog. When a person brings a pet from the street to the vet I use, the vet cuts the bill. I know because he did it for us. We didn’t ask him to cut the bill – he cut the bill in half because he knew we were trying to help a cat that was living on the street and he wanted to also.
I’m disappointed that Verg doesn’t care for animals who are in terrible shape – it’s heartless that they allowed Owl to leave their facility that night. Owl was in such bad shape and Ridgites came though, but Verg #failed
