Five-Year-Old Hit By Teen on Bike at Russell Pedersen Park in Bay Ridge
On Sunday, September 7th around 5:00 pm, a 5-year-old boy was hit by a teen riding on a motorized bike in Russell Pedersen Park in Bay Ridge.
The teenager claimed the 5-year-old hit into him. He then left the park.
The child was taken to the emergency room and thankfully he is okay.
The Police took the information from the parent, but then they left the park. They didn’t investigate more at the park or talk to the teens still at the park.
The local parks need to be safe for children and their families. This parent shared this because the motarized bikes are also at other parks and at the Fort Hamilton track. This is usual there:
