This location is two blocks from where Jiayi Zheng was killed on 3rd Avenue and 55th Street.
How many people have to die or be hurt before Senator Andrew Gounardes takes action? The road is a serious problem and something needs to be changed because it is dangerous. By now Gounardes should have called for this Avenue to be closed and reviewed by experts.
This area has been a known problem since July 2025 when Faqiu Lin, 59 and Kex Un Chen, 80 were killed by a hit and run driver. News:
