Santosuosso Announced Gillibrand’s Popup Meeting in Bay Ridge 3 Hours Before It Starts This Afternoon
Senator Kirsten Gillibrand is meeting residents at the Bay Ridge Library today.
Why did Kayla Santosuosso only announce this three hours before the event?
If the politician wanted Bay Ridge residents to attend, the event would have been announced on Kayla Santosuosso’s social media a week ago. We would have also seen it announced on Senator Andrew Gounardes’ social media. Gounardes has a lot of nonsense on his social media, but failed to mention that Gillibrand will be at the library in Bay Ridge today.
Obviously it’s just a photo-op and the politicians don’t want to hear from residents.
If people knew a NYS Senator was going to be in the area, they would be there because the politicians in this district aren’t helping many people and the same problems exist year after year.
Maybe Santosuosso thinks her staff informed the public earlier, but her Chief of Staff, Chris McCreight sent out a campaign fundraiser at 11:30 am today – so that may be why things aren’t getting done.
