RIP Bay Ridge Man
Early Sunday morning around 1:00 am, a man in his 70’s was found dead in his apartment on the 6th floor at 9949 Shore Road in Bay Ridge. He lived alone. News: https://abc7ny.com/post/fire-tears-brooklyn-apartment-hours-man-found-dead-bay-ridge/19727595
The police entered the man’s apartment through the window and discovered his body. The police didn’t know how long the man was deceased. On Saturday, the people in this apartment building smelled the decomposing body and called the police.
The NYPD shared that the man died of natural causes.
A fire started in the man’s apartment around 1:00 am before the medical examiner arrived. Eighty firefighters came to put out the fire. Six apartments in the building were damaged by the water used to put out the fire.
