Mini Brownout in Bay Ridge – Short Power Outage
The power went out for a minute at 3:14 pm, but then came back on. ConEd is reducing voltage in our area now, so large appliances may not work as well usual. If your air conditioner doesn’t feel as cold, that’s the reason why.
Dyker Heights and Bath Beach residents are sharing that the same thing happened in their area.
Some people lost cable/Internet for a few minutes through Spectrum as well.
Sadly, that small brownout cost some businesses their electrical devices. : (
