Kayla Santosuosso Points The Finger And Fails to Assist The Homeless Man on 5th Avenue

During the 5th Avenue Festival, the man living on 5th Avenue was not there.
This week, when a resident asked Kayla Santosuosso about helping the homeless man, the Councilwoman gave excuses and blamed other parts of government.
*Please continue to ask her to assist this man – she thinks we don’t know or we don’t care.*

Santosuosso doesn’t know who to contact to get things done after being in politics all these years. She personally knows the Mayor as he worked with her!
Santosuosso claims to be working on this EVERY DAY. At some point, she should realize this isn’t the job for her if she can’t get things done.
If your family member was living in the outside in the rain in NYC, politicians, like Andrew Gounardes and Kayla Santosuosso would not help them because they don’t know what to do. Both have worked in government for years and should be able to get assistance.
A few weeks ago, Kayla Santosuosso didn’t know how to put the garbage cans back on 5th Avenue. That was also a task that took her a long time to do! Maybe if she wasn’t meeting with developers, she could take care of things (the developer at Staples said he met with Santosuosso!)
Hugs,
marlene

I called 311 to report the homeless man on 5th Ave in the hope the givt would help him. He has create a small encampment with junk clogging the sidewalk and he is obviously in need of mental health services. 311 took 2 reports, 1. For an encampment and 2. For homeless assistance. I received a notice from. 311 that the case was closed, no encampment visible? What the hell? Who is helping this man??

I received a close call on my report to 311. NYC doesn’t care. And since voters are not complaining, the politicians are not doing anything to help the people.

I believe that this unfortunate homeless man now has a “bench mate”.
I live nearby and now there are two homeless folks living on the bench in the encampment.
I sympathize with the Councilwoman as I understand that NYC has rules about displacing the homeless but enough is enough.
Surely, there must be some means to have this situation resolved to the benefit of all, most especially for the now two homeless people living in the encampment.
Are we supposed to wait until the encampment grows from two to four to six to twelve?

If this was my family member, I would want somebody to help. I don’t believe this man’s family know he isn’t doing well.
