Thank God for Proud Norwegians in Bay Ridge, Who Love To Share Their Culture!
VikingFest took place at Owls Head Park in Bay Ridge today. They brought the huge ship with them (back center of the first photo).
While the weather held out, many people had a chance to learn about Norwegian history and culture.
More cultures in our community should take the time to have culture days like this in a public park.
While some have celebrations with their communities, many don’t take the time to teach and allow people to appreciate the interesting aspects of a culture.
