Shore Hill Apartments Are Open for Lottery!
Shore Hill Housing is located at 9000 Shore Road in Bay Ridge. It is affordable senior housing through NY’s Mitchell Lama Section 8 housing.
They have apartments available for people 62 years+ and who have a certain income.
These are the income limits:
**Shore Hill’s website says this housing is available to a person with a disability without regard to age.
There are 559 apartments at Shore Hill, 558 of which are HUD-subsidized (for some reason ONE is not). The community has 325 studio apartments and 233 1-bedroom apartments.

Wait one more thing……In November 2022, a Community Board 10 meeting revealed that 30% of the housing at Shore Hill will be for homeless seniors. This was not revealed by the former Councilman (Justin Brannan) or Senator Andrew Gounardes (since this housing is covered under the state, Gounardes should have shared that information with ncommunity).
