Proof That Lobbyists Won in Bay Ridge
This is ta new Citibike rack on Shore Road and 91st Street – it is across the street from Shore Hill Housing for seniors.
There was plenty of room on the sidewalk for Lyft to install the rack.
There’s room for Citibikes and for parking…not one or the other. Should there be 48 stations in one small community? No, unless these stations are being used (which many aren’t).
Two blocks away is another Citibike setup.

This is not a very productive post. Wish you would use your platform to help improve our community, instead of feeding people a curated list of small grievances that obscure and impede progress.

Jack, it’s okay if you don’t want to know about how lobbyists are controlling our politicians, but my neighbors and I are very interested in who has control in our community. The streets are a wreck and we haven’t heard from you! There is no reason that our neighbors should have lost their parking spots for bikes on Shore Road (there is plenty of space on the sidewalk for the bikes).
Since this website is not connected to Facebook or other social media, you can easily avoid it. I’ll always be writing about lobbyists here. Take care,
