Did a Person Jump from the Verrazzano Bridge on April 3rd?

Tonight, on the Citizen App, there was an alert about a person jumping from the bridge. They found a car left unattended on the bridge. Ali shared the photo above of the emergency vehicles on the bridge.
The search ended very quickly. RIP.
A person, who was loved by many people jumped because many people are searching for this – not just in Brooklyn, but other states as well. We are very sorry for your loss.
May your friend/family member rest in peace.

Allison – Cole is beautiful. We are so sorry.
Our community advocated for fencing around this bridge because many people have died. $32.8 million was spent. Is the fencing not complete around the bridge? The news does not cover the Verrazano Bridge any more. Today 4/16/26 a body was found in the water under the Verrazzano Bridge. Someone a female jumped from the bridge, but there is no way to confirm it. This weekend, I will contact some leaders because the fencing was supposed to prevent this.
