Fireworks on Wednesday Night in Bay Ridge
On Wednesday night, one of the best Christmas events in Bay Ridge happens. St. Patrick’s Academy had their Christmas Concert on 4th Avenue and then Santa comes down 4th Avenue in a sleigh.
It is amazing to see the little children so excited for Santa…..and the fireworks.
Yes, there is about 10 minutes of fireworks at 7:00 pm. Take your dog for an extra long walk and then put the music up in your home to distract your dog.
It really is one of the best events for the holiday – if you have time take a walk up to 4th Avenue between 95th and 96th Street.
*During the pandemic, I saw this the first time and it was incredible. Whoever planned the event understands what children need.
Fourth Avenue will be closed around that time for Santa’s arrival.
