Palestinian Demonstration in Bay Ridge on 11/18

This afternoon, Palestinians and non-Palestinians gathered on 4th Avenue and 86th Street in Bay Ridge calling for a ceasefire in the Gaza.

The newspapers aren’t covering what’s happening in the Gaza well.

Palestinian protests in NY are not being covered well either, so it’s nice that Bay Ridge photographer took the time to cover this.

While this demonstration wasn’t as large as the last one, there are a lot more non-Palestinian people at the protest with signs because they understand what is happening.
WOW this is sending a clear message:

This protest and the one in Sunset park this evening were peaceful protests calling for a ceasefire.

The news doesn’t even relay how many people have been killed.

Maybe In Our Lifetime needs to partner with local photographers like Tom Hilton so people see the truth about their demonstrations and protests for The Gaza.

Hasan Alaur, who lives in the neighborhood and came with his grandkids and family today, says he will join up with the march again further north after a doctor's appointment. pic.twitter.com/Nu8MPJZn6a
Traffic on 3rd Avenue was very slow.
