Why is Avid Hotel Allowed To Work on Sunday?
George shared this photo of work being done today (Sunday) at the hotel at 640 – 86th Street (this is across the street from where IS 322 will be built at the old Nathan’s location – see street view here).
Why is this location allowed to do construction on Sunday?
The people living on Battery Avenue and 86th Street deserve peace and quiet on their weekend – not construction work early on Sunday morning!
The developers know when they can get away with building on Sunday and when they can’t. No one politician in this community has stood up against a developer.
We need a new council representative that isn’t afraid to speak out against Avid Hotel’s developers.
