Hamilton The Kitten Thrives in Brooklyn

Earlier in the week, I saw the messages on Facebook about a kitten meowing on the tracks at the Fort Hamilton station.
Jackie B. from Neighborhood Cats went to the Ft. Hamilton station and put out a trap to capture the kitten, so she could help him.
A short time later, the kitten went into the trap to eat the tasty food and Jackie brought him home. (Below) Hamilton was named and he had a bath!

Hamilton is four months old and will be up for adoption after he receives his shots and vet care.

Jackie is amazing. We are lucky to have this woman in our community. This kitten’s and others wouldn’t have these happy ending stories without her or the Neighborhood Cats group. I remember in 2019, Jackie was part of the Toby Project to do TNR in Bay Ridge (trap, neuter and release cats)

There is a wishlist of catfood for this group on Amazon if you want to help this group. – See here
Jackie rescued this kitten in Bay Ridge in October:

Neighborhood Cats, I am always glad to share stories about you – thank you for caring for the cats without homes yet.
