Under Reported: Arsenic in East Village NYCHA. Someone Knew for Two Weeks!

Arsenic was found in the Jacob Riis Houses NYCHA development’s tap water in the East Village. Arsenic was not found in the water in surrounding neighborhoods in Manhattan. (Source) Around 3000 people live in this development.
Residents noticed cloud water at the beginning of August and some said the water smelled bad. (Source) The City shared that the arsenic was found in the water two weeks ago and NYCHA residents were only told on Friday night, September 2nd. (More info)

I guess NY 10 is glad they didn’t elect this politician who is in charge of the area:

People were given bottled water to drink and cook with. Are they bathing with water with arsenic in it?
