Bay Ridge Memorial Day Parade · May 29, 2023
At 10:00 am on Shore Road and 81st Street is a POW/MIA Flag Presentation before the Memorial Day Parade (if you never saw it before, it is worth seeing).
At 11:00 am, on Memorial Day, Monday May 29, 2023, the Bay Ridge Memorial Day Parade will start on 3rd Avenue and 78th Street.
The parade will run along 3rd Avenue to Marine Avenue, up to 4th Avenue then over to John Paul Jones Park on 101st Street for the annual memorial service immediately following the parade that features a wreath laying by Veteran Service Organizations, the raising of our nations flag, a 21-gun salute and the playing of Taps.
The Leif Bar at 6725 5th Avenue is having a barbecue at 2:00 pm on Monday.
Everyone is invited – come cheer for the Veteran’s in the parade! They love it when people clap and cheer as their vehicles pass.
