Paul Sorvino, Actor from Bensonhurst Died

Paul Sorvino, an 83-year-old actor from Bensonhurst, Brooklyn died. He was 83-years-old and did of natural causes in a hospital in Florida. (News story)

Sorvino attended Lafayette High School in Brooklyn.

He stared in Goodfellas as Paulie Cicero and he played a NYPD sergeant on Law and Order.

   He always wanted to play and sing Caruso, and Paul sang opera well.

   His daughter Mira, was named after a Star Trek character. They loved the show.
