Highland Park Forever Changed By Shooting
Chicago’s politicians offer thoughts and prayers after the shooting today in Highland Park.
Before the killer was captured, the news started to share the backgrounds of the people who were killed. (See above) This couple was shot and killed and their baby was taken to safety by another couple that didn’t know them. (Story here) How awful.
Soon everyone will forget that the incident happened, except those in Highland Park, who are hoping the government will do something to stop future shootings.

But nothing will be done and in a few weeks, there will be another mass shooting somewhere else in the United States.
