Why Did Councilman Brannan Cross Spectrum’s Picket Line To Go On TV?

Since 2017, Spectrum has been on strike. Any politician appearing on Spectrum News is crossing Spectrum’s picket line.
“I know what it takes to win, I know what it takes to fight against adversity. I know what it takes to deliver for your constituents and ultimately that’s the job,” said @JustinBrannan. #MorningsOn1 pic.twitter.com/yyqR6DMVWF

Justin Brannan is clueless why so many Bay Ridge and Dyker Heights residents voted against him.
Despite being clueless on the community, Brannan should have know better than to appear on a television station that won’t bargain with it’s workers. You either support unions OR you don’t — there is no in-between.

In March 2017, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 3 and Spectrum broke down, and 1,800 workers affiliated with the union walked off the job. Spectrum should have negotiated by now.
