How Do Lobbyist Work Bills Into NYC Council
Lobbyists file with NYC (some don’t, but then can get fined). Lobbyists approach politicians with what changes they would like to make. I was told that some even write the bill for the pol to submit.
I saw this lobbyist filing with Justin Brannan’s name on it (See here) and you can see the NYC Intro Bill number is 2349, so you search for that number.
Then magically, a bill appears by one of the politicians. (See here)
