Malliotakis Called Out Brannan and Cuomo
Usually Nicole Malliotakis doesn’t call out Justin Brannan or Andrew Cuomo. But hearing about a senior being robbed in the afternoon must have set Malliotakis off. Nicole has always supported the police and considered safety as a main concern.
Last June, as the coronavirus raged through NYC, Councilman Justin Brannan engaged in a conversation on Twitter. A stranger asked “Which councilmembers have yet to agree to #DefundNYPD by at least 1 Billion? Brannan replied “Ya, I’m in.” The conversation can be seen here.
Brannan should have been a leader and said, “No we are going to reform the police and transfer money to some departments.” The words used in NYC matter.
Brannan never apologized or took responsibility for what that type of rhetoric did to NYC.

Brannan is a coward politically. She must have forgotten about our state Senator and Brannan’s coat holder, Andrew Gounardes. You know, the one who proudly voted for bail reform. Both of these clowns have a lot of nerve showing up to a national night out against crime last night when both of them have voted for and championed policies that have led to increases in crime and victims.
