Clean Up Owls Head Park in Brooklyn – July 12th
Monday, July 12th is “Pitch in at the Park Day.”
A new group called “The Bay Ridge Environmental Group” is joining the Partnership for Parks to clean up Owls Head Park at 6:00 pm.
I haven’t seen this group work on environmental issues – they seemed more like a political group. In March I wrote about them here because while they are vocal on Twitter, I haven’t seen them do anything here.
There has been talk on social media about there being only one very overwhelmed Parks Department Employee cleaning Owls Head Park. (See here) I have no idea if that is true.
Owls Head Park is on Colonial Road and 68th Street.
